I just had to reblog this: Happiest People
[click on the hypertext to see from where]
So few words on that image, and yet
the few words carries so much wisdom.
—————————————–
P.S.
I managed to tick off one teeny weeny item from the pending list.
One that took about 5 hours to complete.
And I have been just sitting on it for about a month.
I should have just got it done and over with sooner

“teeny weeny” …. reminded me of someone saying something. LOL …. never mind!
…
Awesome post.
It makes perfect sense to me.
We have seen those who apparently have everything going through worse moments in their lives. So having too much doesnt necessarily mean happiness, in fact, it can destroy happiness altogether.
And hand to mouth situation is also not a good option, especially if it’s gonna be mismanaged just like the mismanaged wealth.
BALANCE, eh!
Sounds easier said than done, but I believe thats the best way to enjoy life. Agree with ya! ….
Now post your pending teeny weeny!
thanks mon ami
you have put more meaning to the post with your words.
and to post about teeny weeny I now need to get another tick on the pending list – and looks so time consuming and the moment I start to tackle one my mind say “oh the other is more important, tackle that first]
and the moment I try the next item my mind says the same thing and it goes on and on
… so you see I really am struggling here to get my brain to focus
now i want to read about your someone who you are reminded of by teeny weeny
lol that someone was just a friend who had an interesting encounter with the term teeny weeny and was gracious enough to share the story, which am not gonna spill a drop of it here!! lol
you are so mean
here i am dying to read it and you are just …. sob sob
you rock.
happy new year.
Thanks for the love to poets rally, keep it up.
smiles.
elegant piece, love the vivid imagery.
thank you Natalie.
the quickest post I ever posted and yet, the words really mean a lot to me.
Happy New Year to you too
Hello,
I find you via a friend at poetry rally,
giving you a poetry award, please check out the details by sending me an email or visit
http://promisingpoetsparkinglot.blogspot.com/
take it, submit to week 59 if possible.
cheers.,
OMG … this is just mind blowing

never expected this …
it really really is an honor – I have never seen myself as a poet
Someone who can write my mind , yes. But never as a poet.
Thank you Thank you – I am totally humbled
love that image. very meaningful. Most of the time the ones who has everything are the ones who are least happy. there is no correlation between happiness and the best of everything.
I wonder what that teeny weeny thing that took you 5 hours to complete. kidding
cheers
well said – no correlation between happiness and wealth !!!

and for the curious MFB – the teeny weeny thing I manage to do FINALLY
is reading and commenting on a Bill that needs to go into the parliament for debate …
the sheer boredom of the task and my “temporary” and not too serious disdain of the authority kept me from doing it
but ofcourse there were more important things to do – like SULK !!!

oh my god! who are you really Miss.Mindblur? getting a chance to comment on a bill that goes to parliament is not something ordinary.
Proud of you.
oh no big deal really
just part of my job. i am just an ordinary civilian. very very ordinary
this post is really true, because you should be happy with what you got and so if you have everything, that makes it as though you are not the happiest people.
yes. be happy with what you have. be happy with the people you have. be happy with what you believe. but of course we should always try to find better ways
thanks
Yeah.. I agree with this post.. Its just awesome Amira
thanks khushbu
i am just trying to make the best of what i have, without complaining
Congrats on the Tick, Amira! One down…… yay! I love this quote….so so true.
And congratulations on your Poet’s Award! That is awesome! woo hoo!
thanks Judy.
i am hoping to get another tick by end of tomorrow
and the “best of everything” doesn’t always come with happiness. happiness comes only when one is content even without it
amira, you’ve made my day with this post. thank you and bless you!
learning to be content with what we have is what we need.
happiness comes with love and forgiveness. happiness dho… it’s so elusive too.
it’s easy to envy what others have… it’s easy to wish for the other house, the other guy, the other job, the other life …
we just need to surround ourselves with enough love to overcome those “other” urges
thanks for coming by…
well spoken wise words.. wish you every happiness
Perfect and true!
ElizOF! you are on a mission aren’t you? leaving lovely comments on quite a few of my posts in one go
i am really really humbled
thank you for the attention
