It’s frustrating when you are gagged
when there is so much you want to say
and yet, and yet there is no way to do it
It’s frustrating when one hears silent agony
or silent glory
and yet cannot leave a thread in their space.
It brings a cheer when the world around is rosy.
Making it rosy takes only a little effort – like
surrounding ourselves with beautiful souls
spending some time in light-hearted cinema!
I just did! ‘Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge’ is light
is fun, is crazy, and is naughty, and is very ‘today’
the chat world, the status updates, the comments,
the carefree words behind the screen!
How cowardly we are out front!
It is now on my “highly recommend movie list”
if you are a romantic at heart
If you believe in a soul mate
If you believe in opposites attract.
John ABraham, the hunkiest he has been.
Muscles, wah kya muscles
what an ‘item’
FORCE is an action packed movie
with beautiful romance blooming on the side.
The innocent beauty of Genelia is just amazing.
Not a typical Bollywood melodrama movie.
It’s a bit different, zara hatkey. And OMG!
Before I forget, even the villain is a hunk of a dude.
The whole thing is action, action,
muscles, handsome, hulk-biceps,
beautiful tattoos, broad shoulders,
cute smiles, and heart-wrenching emotions
with the brutality of criminal gangs.
Azaan the namesake (Sachin) is good-looking
I think a newbie – but good acting.
The story line is a bit intriguing,
interesting and not very mainstream Bollywood.
The taste of terror
through mechanical weapons
and biological weapons,
mixed with a sensuous short performance by Candrice,
to be interrupted with her murder.
It was shocking, a bit abrupt, yet beautiful.
Zara, the little girl carrying the vaccine in her blood;
the antidote for the Ebola virus,
left me thinking “what!!! Is that possible?”
Want some light-hearted fun?
Meet a girl with a unique style!
Feel young at heart and daring!
With sizzling Imran Khan & Katrina Kaif’s chemistry.
A feel good, humourous, sounds like true,
true feelings from the heart,
feelings that we should hold dearly,
cherish with everything we have
And to finally fall in love ![]()
Mere Brother Ki Dulhan has it all.
I simply adore Imran Khan -
for the curious people, he is related to Amir Khan
And this movie reminded me of an all time favorite
movie by ShahRukh Khan back in 1997, with Mahima.
Pardes is such a lovely movie.
I watched this one sitting in an Indian Cinema
in New Delhi, in the same year the movie was released.
AND it was my first overseas cinema experience
================================================
P.S. A few more to go in my collection. Getting there! ![]()
Can’t wait to go out and get more recent ones….

I enjoyed watching allof them
Wow…you really ticked a bunch off the list the past few days! Bravo! The stack must be getting short now! I thought that guy looked familiar….so he’s Amir’s brother. hmmm….might want to see that one! And the first one sounds like one for me!
Thanks for the reviews, Amira!
Yeah the stack is getting short
But my pending list does not seem to budge
maybe I should be …
But, I am not worried
nah
Oh yes, he is. that’s why he looks familiar.
And his acting also has some resemblance. totally awesome dude
Do let me know what you think about those once you get a chance to watch.
i think that I now have a new list to check out…thanks
Oh good. Another Bollywood fan
enjoy
My favourite Bollywood movie is probably K3G
If Madhuri and I were of a similar age, she is a woman I’d marry, I’m sure you wanted to know that.
K3G is unbeatable. the best family drama
ShahRukh is great in any movie and so is Rhithik.
oh yipppppeeeeee

thanks for sharing that information, abt your infatuation with madhuri
makes me feel more saner
lol … Im getting ready for my weekend indulgence!
Awesome list mon amie!
And the poem is really sweet, colorful, but it also expresses painful emotions that we all experience one way or another. Love it!
You know how to engage your readers!
Lovely piece as always!
Hope your PC is now back to normal activity! Last time I checked it was in a paranormal mood!
oh indulge yourself
you deserve it!
and the movies all deserve to be watched and enjoyed.
Can’t help but feel like I’m in my early 20s after watching those
And wow – I see that mon ami is back to normal commenting mode
but no, my little baby HP is still not back. The IT doc says files might be recoverable. But still not much of a hope.
other than that the PC is behaving – no more hijacking of the skull
I enjoyed listening/watching your clips …
Yes Liz! those movies are great. light and lovely and good to the mind
I hope I can find Mere Brother Ki Dulhan on Netflix… I gotta watch it… Had me laughing out loud. Any ideas if not Netflix?
Okay Amira, I found it on Netflix, WooHoo! Do you have any other recommendations? TY!
Cool. you found it

yeah the last one I watched is Guru and Black – Both are backdated some years I think.
I bought them from a visit to India in 2010 and never managed to watch it
but I would recommend both movies. Guru definitely!
