A rollercoaster of emotions;
a visionary, a dreamer;
a person who dreams big;
works hard with courage unmet;
fight between media and demigods;
fight of people battling diseases;
an arranged marriage,
blooming into a happy one…

I enjoyed every minute of it.
Can’t believe I’ve held onto the DVD
for a year without watching it.
I vow never to lose myself to work,
never from this day forward!

Another movie from some time back;
only watched it just now.
A very interesting movie;
a moving story, a true tale they say;
plausible I agree.

Ava a beautiful gal
Yuri (Nicholas cage) an interesting character;
a great actor.
He’s the first Hollywood actor that I fancied :)
Depp, Bloom, Will Smith, Owen Wilson
all came after him.

Back to Lord of War, or warlords!!!
I liked the villain, the African warlord!
And the glimpses of Syria, Sierra Leon;
all very intriguing.

And, ah! The story of Ava,
a model, a wannabe actress, a wannabe painter,
an understanding wife, a mother …
beautiful she is!

A movie from a couple of years ago.
Only bought it this week.
Dre, cute kid, cute hair.
And the glimpse of China
had me gripped from the very first moment.
The early days in a new place,
settling in, finding a niche in the society,
making enemies faster than making friends;
and wow! The beauty of Kung fu,
and the beauty of its discipline.
Oh! Even the Chinese kid, Mei Yin, is so so cute.
An A+ for the director, for the absence of nudity,
profanity, and kissing, other than the very subtle,
implied attractions between the kids.
I can watch this with my kid :)

Vidya Balan is just great in whatever role;
a superb actress.
She is among the few Bollywood actresses
bold enough to play a ‘character’.
The most of the rest are just item girls
being just pretty, silly, or overly dramatic.

Naseeruddin and Arshad also performed superbly.
Human emotions portrayed very well.
