The joy of watching children enjoy the water and sand;
how cutely they enjoy it kneeling on the shore.
The sheer beauty of nature’s play of water and sand;
water rolling and exchanging, sand from the deep to the shore.
The crystal-like water, the gem-like sand;
the kids much more precious than anything ashore.
These two subjects,
the interplay of seeing the nature at its best
the kids at their happiest;
makes my day, calms my mind, my soul smiles.

P.S. My contribution to the Weekly Photo Challenge: Two subjects

Love those sand pies!
they are just awesome isn”t it?
the kids are so creative
Who can resist, water and sand!!??!!
no one can resist it Sunshine. some are afraid to plunge into the water. but the moment they do, coming out is just not too welcome. the water is so cool especially in a tropical country like Maldives, the water is heavenly
*sigh* just dreaming i’m floating in the water. thank you. *sigh*
Watching children at play in water and sand is a memory that is as precious as the children are.
very true Colline
the children are precious. so is the memory of sand plan.

Lovely interpretation of this week’s challenge Amira. Really nice though behind both these pictures. Great post.
thanks Arindam
Well done Amira…love the first one.
thanks Jo. I love that one too. the kids were so clever in position those guys in the right spot .. they also enjoyed trampling on it a few seconds after I got that snap
Such beauty! Great entry Amira!
*hugs*
thanks Sonel. *hugs* back to you
Sandcastles and children – two delights. I’ve always loved beaches, the sound of the ocean – and can remember a sand castle or two of my own, though not nearly as many as I would have liked. Beautiful pictures.
Judee … we are never too old to build a sandcastle or two.
head to the beach and a sandcastle is simple enough
wish you all the best.
on seeing the first photo, i remembered my day childhood day’s in goa

thanks Amar, for the visit.
I’ve heard about Goa a lot. One day I should make a point of visiting and experiencing Goa and it’s beaches …

Beautiful piece Amira!
Love the way you portrayed the contrast and similarity between the two subjects. … Indeed, such a scene would make the soul smile!
Cheers,
oh that’s right. my soul smiles every time I see the ocean.
sadly my soul shrieks sometimes at the kids.
but when both are combined it’s all smiles all the way

How my kids enjoyed playing in the sand during our last vactn! As you’ve said – they were at their happiest!
they at their happiest and we are (I am) at our happiest that they are happy and out of our hair for one
we lose count of the time when on the beach …
but our skin tone the next will remind us that we spent too much time really … our sun burns us mercilessly
aww what a awesome post, Sun shine feelings, but once again you forgot “rayban wyfers ”
I guess I need those 13 rayban wyfers right now
send them again
Really beautiful – I’m glad you and your children get to enjoy it. So many memories are made at the beach.
that’s very true Sheila. so many memories are made at the beach.
