The brain is a beautiful thing
The best example of departmentalisation
One department can be going through agonising turmoil
and yet, “the department of pretenses” can convince the face to smile.
Such small space it takes to organise itself
Just 1.3 to 1.5kg of mass it is; Neatly hidden inside the skull!
God is great to have created it such, lest we see the chaos that goes inside.
I can’t help equate the inside of the mind to that of above ![]()
Stuffed toys of a growing up boy, trying to find a place in the small shelf space
Now this below is the inside of a tamarillo.
The first time I met this fruit was in 2008, in Australia.
And have not seen it again. I remember enjoying the taste of it.
The inside looks so neat. Can only marvel at God’s ingenuousness…
Like the image above, the one below also reminds me of the brain

My Contribution to this week’s Photo Challenge: Inside

Was the fruit sweet? Looks like a bit sour. Any way, mouth-watering. Good one, Amira.
Bindu
glad that you have been coming over
i have been very busy and also lazy just leaving a post now and then without doing anything else…
anyways, the fruit was a bit sourish i remember. it’s a bit like tomato .. no more like fig…. i don’t know
I remember enjoying it ..
omg! you are right! it does look like a brain
thanks for the visit and comment APB!
I like your take.
Thanks dear… glad to see your comments and likes … i have been very inactive these past feeeewwwww weeks …

Really nice pictures. The last one made me smile, yes it looked like mind for sure. Great interpretation of this week’s challenge theme Amira.
thanks for the comment Arindham.
this post was a confused one for me. i just wanted to use my son’s stuffed toy collections in one of my posts and the inside theme reminded me of the squeezed in toys competing for their space inside the shelf
that fruit looks so good!!! esp since i am fasting right now lol. btw Ramadan Kareem!
I know eva
fasting does make things look much appealing
but the moment we break the fast, we are happy with whatever there is for the moment
ramadan kareem to you dear. May the month be a blessed one
Another lovely piece!
This made me laugh actually: “One department can be going through agonising turmoil
and yet, “the department of pretenses” can convince the face to smile.” Very true!
ah Elyas
the department of pretenses is sure a great one. it’s armed with such hard-shelled no-nonsense beings
Hey Amira…great take on the theme
thanks Jo.
this actually was a very lazy very quick post

very good presentation of this topic.
nice one..
Thanks Rafiulla G
Interesting take on “inside of the mind”. How nice if we could calm the mindless chatter which goes on and on
Regards!
you are right Dilip. It would be nice to calm the mindless chatter… but better still it would be cool if all the mindless chatter can be recorded and sorted itself out as a book that could be read …
just a thought…
The fruit is a great shot!
the fruit looks exotic to me
and it tasted the same …

Great interpretation, lovely photos.
thanks Naomi
them toys scooped inside the allotted shelf is just too good to pass
The stuffed animals picture is a great one for all our crazy thoughts – I’m glad to see most of them are smiling!
I am also glad them toys are smiling
good thing stuffed toys are meant to put a smile on its owner’s face.
just them fighting or squeezing for space is just like what I feel inside myself
Yes – I know the feeling! It’s a jumble of insanity inside but good when some of those things cause smiles.
Great shots for the challenge! Love the toys!
Thanks for the lovely comments always
I definitely think I have a long stuffed monkey arm hanging out in my brain and probably a lot more of the soft tamarillo too. Cute photos for the challenge.
Thanks Angelia for the visit and lovely comment. welcome to my space
the monkey arm is cool… i can’t help equating my confused mind to the monkey’s despair at having it’s arm dangling at such an awkward angle
Interesting concept for the challenge, Amira. I hink the tamarillo
looks like kidneys, too. It is a very unusual looking fu\ruit. I think
I’ve had it but it was called something else. Can’t rmember at the moment.
Great job ….
Isadora

I was actually at a loss for a photo for inside.
I wanted it to be something unique and interesting … and that’s what I could come up with
Glad you like it
