I have held on to this dream. A dream of owning my own house.
I have in my head every little detail drawn; split level house with four bedrooms, a veranda, a backyard, a front yard, a garage, lots of trees
all around the house in the open yards. I even have thought about all the different variety of plants I want to have – with a small vegetable garden and plenty of aromatic flowering plants.
The dream house etched in my mind for over a decade – is still a dream.
I even had sketched it (included below) and held on to the piece of paper for all these years – pulling it out from time to time, just to dream and wish 
It is still a dream. A dream that I realize cannot be realized, living in this cramped city with land the most expensive commodity. The opportunity arose a few years ago to build the dream house in another island. Alas! my idea and his idea of a dream house are way too different hence had to compromise – ending up having a one floor house with just teeny-weeny space as a front yard. Totally disappointing.
So the dream continues. The first image above is the closest replica I found to match the dream house in my head – have held on to that image alongside my sketch.
As I start another lap on my life’s journey, I can’t help sigh!
I wonder if my dream will ever come true. Dreams are meant to come true once in a while, right?

It’s just that at times, it only looks like a dream … a dream that will only remain a dream
It does feel so at many times in our lives.. That something will always remain a dream. But think positive! When somebody thinks positive, and deletes all “maybe that would never happen”, then only can they accomplish their goals!
As Paulo Coelho said:
“And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”
