When I think of Silhouette what comes to my mind is Mills and Boon.
Why
erm…
I think it is to do with the publisher or the imprint of that series.
There was a couple of years of my decades of living, where I read a lot of Mills&Boon novels.
It was always amusing to read about the chiseled drop-dead gorgeous guys,
the love sick divas, the ultimate moment when both says the three most important words “I love you”.
It always unfolds after such colorful drama. I remember a barn in most of the novels, and there definitely is lust, romance, and pure love
Also, many of them revolves around love triangles. And that reminds me about a Mills&Book type Bollywood movie. Cocktail of 2 friends one guy, messed up lives, both girls falling in love with the same guy in a twisted kind of way, one making sacrifices, etc etc. It was a romantic comedy really. Couldn’t help laugh watching it.
Anyways, this Week’s theme for the Photo Challenge is silhouette – as in capturing the shape or outline of an object by sandwiching the object between light and the camera
I flicked through my photo archive and found a few and chose to share some of my favorites.
This one is of the sunset and a day out picking sea shells.
I also share an escapade rowing out to the sun.

Great images of “silhouette”… love them…
Thanks for dropping by my blog… cheers…
thanks for coming by to leave a thread
Beautiful pictures especially the litle boy picking shells at sunset. Many thanks.
That was one nice outing.
And the sunset is the best time of the day in many ways

I love your choices here and was taken by the Mills & Boon books… It brought back a flood of memories as I read them as a pre-teen under the blankets.
hehe
I guess many of us have fond memories of those days of growing up… we go through such phases … the love struck “sweet dreams” to “sweet valley” books onto “sweet valley University” jumping of to mills&boon
So all of us read miss&boon a bit in the hiding eh?
Suppose so…
The photos you’ve posted are outstanding. I like the second one because it feels like the people on the boat are happy to arrive at the shore; their day is done and all is well.
They are actually 2 of my kids and others are relatives kids … just having a fun day on a the beach
Stunning Images ,really! The third one is incredible!
Thanks dear for the support.
I try to follow your blog but it doesn’t take me anywhere.
Does it mean you only have an account for commenting. Do let me know if you have a blog. cheers
Great captures…
Thanks Bindu.
Those last two photos are very special moments to me
